Getting to Know Our Panelists: A’Shontay Hubbard of Christian Omeshun

Christian Omeshun was founded by Atlanta based designer A’Shontay Hubbard. She attended Bauder College and acquired  degrees in both Fashion Design and Business Product Development. Throughout the  time of her education, A’Shontay was a shining star amongst her peers, continuing to remain authentic to her artistic perception.

A’Shontay chose to pursue fashion design when she noticed there was a necessity for contemporary yet sophisticated fashions for plus sized women (specifically the taller women). Most clothing found in stores were often undesirable, cookie cutter, nonexclusive, and were unflattering to the plus sized woman. As a plus size woman herself with a distinct flare for fashion, A’Shontay seen that standards in which plus size garments were being made were simply unacceptable and created a custom clothing line for the woman who dares to demand more.

Christian Omeshun designs for the Curvy, aspiring woman who is determined to be the “show stopper” with her chic, sexy yet classy sense of style. She is one who appreciates simplicity that is easily transitioned from season to season. Our designs are created to be both timeless and interchangeable whether the preference is casual or formal.

Christian Omeshun recognizes that when it comes to the full figured woman size and fit does matters. We are realistic about  the many different body types within the plus size community. With that being said, our overall intent is to emphasize your best assets. We also offer customization on all of our designs to ensure our clients the best fit for their individual bodies.

Christian Omeshun has been featured in Essence, Buzzfeed, Refinery29, Skorch Mag, Kontrol Mag, and The Curvy Fashionista.
