This past Sunday,  The Fluffy Girl Tribe had the opportunity to attend an awesome event here in Atlanta. On April 8th, The Cut Life and Enjoi Lux joined creative forces and brought the Short Hair Don’t Care Runway Event to Atlanta.

Short Hair Don’t Care was a sight to behold! So much Black Girl magic all in one place! The showcase hosted by Tahira Joy Wright of The Cut Life was an opportunity to see various short cuts from different stylists walk the runway.

For those not familiar with Tahira, she is the powerhouse behind The Cut Life; a blog that boasts of being the connoisseur of all things short hair care. Launched back in 2013, The Cut Life quickly became known across social media platforms and their various collaborations with major hair care lines.

The lovely ladies of Enjoi Lux partnered with The Cut Life to bring SHDC Runway event to fruition. A one stop shop for women to learn about their options after chopping, shopping beauty product lines, enjoying a great show, good eats and networking.

The event was beautifully executed by Enjoi Lux. It was deliciously catered by Atlanta’s very own KHISS Catering. Their shrimp cakes were to die for!

And of course you can never go wrong with an open bar right?

The energy and the vibes were lit (for lack of a better term!). But there’s something to be said about a crowd of beautiful people mixing, mingling and learning all at the same time. The show really brought to life the artistry aspect of styling hair; but also highlighted the power of entrepreneurship. Every participant from host to vendor took a chance on themselves, and their brand and as a result a successful event was had!

Kudos to the ladies of Enjoi Lux for coordinating this swanky event. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to checkout any  events from them in the future! Checkout some photos below!
